Comments

Media

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Terms relating to the flow of information in services delivered:

  1. At the point of submitting your CV for a free CV review, this will be considered the “opt-in” process whereby the processor will receive your CV as well as personally identifiable information within your JOBCAREGUIDE profile, as listed in point 2.
  2. All personal information within your CV, as well as identifiable information such as your name, email address, age, gender, and other items already shared with JOBCAREGUIDE, will be subject to being shared with the processor, CVProwriter.
  3. Any details shared on your CV will be accessible to the CVProwriter organization as a processor and the CV writer as a sub-processor.
  4. Due to the nature of the partnership, we are required to share account opening details with the processors, such as name and email address. The information shared is strictly for account activation purposes and communication and can only be used for any other purpose when you consent to it.
  5. Upon CV rewrite package collection and payment, your CV will be rewritten by a sub-contracted CV writer. This writer will engage with you within the CVProwriter platform.

 

Data protection

  1. CVProwriter is GDPR compliant and will treat your personally identifiable information with confidentiality. CVProwriter will endeavor to ensure all personally identifiable information is treated in accordance with local jurisdiction laws. You will not be contacted outside for any purpose outside of fulfilling CV rewrite means by CVProwriter.
  2. By using the CV writing services, you give consent to JOBCAREGUIDE to share your profile and CV details with CVProwriter and its sub-processor.

 

Data processing

  1. The collection of the User’s personal data is necessary, as any refusal to provide such data does not allow JOBCAREGUIDE or CVProwriter to manage and provide the services requested.
  2. With particular reference to the purposes of carrying out aggregated analysis and pursuing CVProwriter’s interests, instead, the legal basis of the processing is the “legitimate interest” of JOBCAREGUIDE, CVProwriter, and its clients: in this case, although the law does not mandatorily require the collection of the personal data or essential for providing the Service to the job seeker, it is in any case necessary as such data are strictly connected with the above legitimate interests, which does not override interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the job seekers. Any refusal to provide such data, therefore, could entail the impossibility of CVProwriter providing the services requested.
  3. Finally, in relation to the purpose of legal obligations, the job seeker’s prior consent is not needed as such processing will be carried out for the fulfillment of a contractual obligation; therefore, any refusal to provide such data entails the impossibility of obtaining the Service requested from CVProwriter and JOBCAREGUIDE.

Communication of the data and access to the data

  1. The personal data provided by the job seeker, as well as those data collected by the Site in the context of the relevant services provided (e.g. IP addresses), will not be disseminated but may be communicated outside Ghana only for purposes and with the modalities illustrated above, to the following categories of parties:
  2. Collaborators, consultants, or self-employed professionals with whom CVProwriter collaborates to carry out technical or organizational activities (such as CV services providers) or with which CVProwriter works for the purpose of providing its services or carrying out marketing activities.
  3. The persons and entities indicated above will process the data in their capacity as independent data controllers, pursuant to the applicable laws, as Data Processors or subprocessors. The list of the names of the subjects to which the data are or may be communicated is available at CVProwriter.
